What are the different file-sharing networks that are available and what clients are best to connect with?

I've been using Bearshare for a few years, which I believe runs on the Gnutella network, but what I want to know is if there are other file-sharing networks besides Gnutella, and which clients are used to connect to them. What do you all recommend using?

1. i use Limewire.
2. Limewire is good,If u have good configuration computer coz limewire sometime effects the speed of the computer, but the downloding speed is good. Ares is good if you dont want to compromise with speed of computer, but the downloading speed in ares is low.
3. lime share is fast in sharing rate but slow s down the system a lot when the file size is too large actually ... u can also try rapid file sharer also which is an reasonable one
